INDIVIDUAL EVENT:-
a) A Competitor must participate in one age-group only including relay not necessarily the age-groups he /
she is eligible to participate i.e. he / she belonging to a junior group may participate in a higher
age-group.
b) A Competitor can participate in MAXIMUM FIVE EVENTS only.
3 Track Events and 2 Field Events or Vice Versa.
c) A School may send MAXIMUM FIVE COMPETITORS for each individual event for actual
participation in all three AGE-GROUPS for Boys and Girls.
d) If an athlete has entered in both the track and field events or in more than one field events taking place
simultaneously, it is the responsibility of the athlete to report at both the places.
RELAY EVENT:-
a) In the relay event the competitor must also participate in one age-group only. (i.e. the same age-group
he / she is participating in an individual event).
b) Two additional athletes may be used as substitutes in the subsequent rounds.
c) Substitutions in a relay team may only be made from the list of athletes already entered for the
competition whether for that or any other event. (From same age group)
d) Once an athlete, who has started in a previous round, has been replaced by a substitute, he cannot return
to the team.
e) Any athlete wants to participate in any relay his or her name should appear on the list of entry form
ENTRY FORMS:
a) All entry forms shall be signed by the Head of the School (Not by a sports master or coach) who shall
certify that the condition of attendance has been complied with in case of team selected or competitors
entered under Rules No.4 of General Rules for Competitions.
b) Please mention Registration No. on the entry form.
c) HEADMASTER/HEADMISTRESS ARE REQUESTED TO BE CAREFUL IN CLASSIFYING
THEIR ATHLETES. WRONGLY CLASSIFIED ENTRY FORMS WILL BE REJECTED AND
THEIR ENTRY FEES WILL BE FORFEITED. NO REPLACEMENTS WILL BE
PERMITTED.
PLEASE NOTE: Any cancellation or overwriting must be countersigned by the Head of the School.
Important: Entries filled in wrongly will be rejected. Should the Association detect wrong entries at the time of
scrutinizing the Entry Form, those particular entries will be cancelled and the school will be solely responsible
for the same. No refund will be given.
School Identity Card
a) Every player participating in the competition / event must carry his / her School Identity Card and
should produce the same on demand before the commencement of every event to the Official, Referee or
Venue Incharge. This is mandatory, failing which; they will not be allowed to take part in the
competition / event.

Important:
Boys 1) If there are less than (6) six entries from (6) six different schools in an event then that event will be
cancelled.
2) If there are less than (4) four competitors from (4) four different schools facing the starter / Referee,
both in Track and Field Events in the qualifying Round / Direct Final / Final, then that event will be
cancelled.
Girls 1) If there are less than (6) six entries from (6) six different schools in an event, then that event will be
cancelled.
2) If there are less than (4) four competitors from (4) four different schools facing the starter / Referee,
both in Track and Field Events in the qualifying Round / Direct Final / Final, then that event will be
cancelled.
Relay:1) If there are less than 4 entries from 4 different schools of Boys and girls then that event
stands cancelled.
DISCIPLINE:
Damage to the property of the University Sports Pavilion, misbehavior of a serious nature will result in
suspension of the competitors. The schools concerned will have to bear or make good the loss of property. The
Rules of discipline have to be strictly followed..
Protest: Any protest, if at all lodged, must be done through the accredited Sports-in-Charge / Teacher-in-Charge / Coach
of the team within half an hour of the conclusion of the event together with the protest Fee of Rs. 2,000/-. The
protest fee will be forfeited if the protest is overruled. The said protest should be endorsed by the Head of the
School within 24 hours after the conclusion of the event. (Not including public holidays).
Please Note:
The protest once decided by the Jury of Appeal of the meet will be final and binding and shall not be disputed
by any of the parties concerned in any forum thereafter.
Medical Test: If the Jury feels that the athlete has to be taken for the medical test, then the
expense for the test will be borne by the school who lodges the protest against that athlete.
TROPHIES / SHIELDS / CUPS :
It is resolved that since the Association’s Trophies / Shields / Cups are very old, valuable, precious and have
sentimental value, the practice of allowing the school to carry away the Trophies / Shields / Cups will be
continued by signing a BOND between the winning school and the Association. The Trophies / Shields / Cups
will be presented to the recipient at the Prize Distribution Function of the respective EVENTS and will be
allowed to be taken by the winning school and kept in possession for a week (7 days) only and the same will
returned to the Association’s office on expiry of the date of the Bond in the same condition as it was
presented.
In case of any damage or loss of the Trophies / Shields / Cups, the winning school will have to pay the cost of
the damage or loss of the said trophies / shields / cups valued at the present price. However, the trophies /
shields / cups will not be given to student or parent but only to the accredited representative of the winning
school.
Prizes: Certificates and Medals will be awarded to the Winners, Runners-Up and Third Place.
VERY IMPORTANT: Headmasters / Headmistresses, being absolutely responsible when submitting the List of Players, must be very
careful to see that the Dates of Birth are correctly entered as per the School General Register. Very often, though
no fault of the Headmasters / Headmistress, Schools have been found fielding overage students and the schools
have been disqualified. This brings disrepute to your school. Moreover, a fine of Rs. 2,000/- will be imposed on
any school found fielding over aged players in any group. In case of a school found fielding over aged players,
the same will be notified to all Members Schools and made public through the press, after ratification by the
Executive Committee.
Schools walking out of the competition or disrespecting the Prize Distribution Ceremony will also be fined
Rs.1,000/- and action will be taken against the school as per the resolution of the Association.
BIB NUMBERS:
BIB numbers will be issued to schools free of cost. The Association will not take back the BIB numbers from
the schools after the Athletic Meet is over.
BIB numbers will be issued to Schools on 13th & 14th January, 2022 during office hours only. (BIB Numbers will
not be issued after the office hours). Please depute your accredited Sportsmaster / Teacher / Coach to collect the
BIB numbers. No BIB numbers will be given to the peons, students and parents.
No athlete will be permitted to compete in any event without a proper BIB number given by the Association,
duly pinned on the chest & back with four pins each. Schools should make arrangements for pins. Paper
numbers will not be permitted under any circumstances.
IDENTITY CARD:
ALL IDENTITY CARDS SHOULD BE CHECKED AND REGISTERED WITHOUT WHICH BIB
NUMBERS WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
